Our toddler room is a spacious classroom with large windows for lots of natural light. The atmosphere is comfortable and safe, allowing children to explore their environment.
The toddler program offers a balance of quiet and active play opportunities within a scheduled routine. This daily routine incorporates two hours a day of outdoor gross motor play, weather permitting. This program introduces children to circle time, creative projects, sensory /science investigation in both child directed and teacher lead activities.
Our outdoor play time consists of stimulating and challenging activities that are appropriate for toddlers. We incorporate a large green space and exploration of nature in our backyard with opportunities to participate in walks around the center and surrounding neighborhood.
These experiences are documented with pictures and stories for program planning and sharing with parents. Our qualified staff endeavor to provide a loving, nurturing environment that helps the children to achieve their developmental milestones.
Teachers work hard to meet the children’s individual needs, making adaptations for rest times and meals as well as accommodating varying abilities. We believe this helps children to feel safe and secure enabling them to be competent and capable learners.
